Melbourne Wine School is happy to bring you our 4-Week Wine Evenings that explore many of the classic wine regions of the world as well as looking further afield to new and interesting regions.​
With a focus on famous wine regions, there's certainly something for everyone! These courses are suitable for all levels of wine knowledge, even the absolute beginner. Always friendly and informal, and a great way of meeting like minded wine lovers!​

World of Wine: France
Wine is integral to French culture and the country has a wonderfully long history of wine production, producing fantastic wines from regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and Loire Valley.
​Discover the diversity of perhaps the most important wine country in the world.
These evenings explore some of the major wine regions of France, whilst tasting some of their signature wines along the way.

World of Wine: Italy
Italy is possibly the most confusing wine country to get to know, with a huge diversity of grape varieties and wine styles! It is well worth spending a little time to become more familiar with it.
​We will taste some of the indigenous grapes that help make Italian wine so famous and intriguing including - Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Garganega, and Barbera.Â

World of Wine: Spain & Portugal
The fantastic Iberian peninsula is an underrated source of great wines! Come and discover the unique and indigenous grape varieties that both Spain and Portugal have to offer.
​We will discover the age-worthy wines of Rioja, the intense and structured wines of Priorat as well as many other styles including Sherry and Port.

It's easy to forget about South America after visiting the great wine countries of Europe, but it is a land of new interesting wines, long forgotten in their own homelands.
Explore these new and exciting regions of South America, and discover wines you may have never heard of, or perhaps even thought to give a try!

How des it work?
All courses run for a duration of 2 hours, spread over 4 consecutive weeks.
​All tastings include a minimum of 6 wines to try, are completely tutored and you will receive full tasting notes plus some tasting sheets for you to make notes, if you wish.Â
You will also have the use of professional tastings glasses and some nibbles as well.
