WSET Level 1 Award in Wine

The WSET Level 1 Award in Wine is the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to understand what's actually in their glass. In a single day at our Richmond location, you'll learn the fundamentals of how wine is made, explore the major grape varieties and wine styles through guided tasting, and finish with a globally recognised qualification.

No prior knowledge needed and no wine background is required. Just a curiosity and a willingness to taste and learn. The Level 1 is where many of our 3,000+ graduates began their wine journey, and it remains one of the most enjoyable days we run. If you've ever wanted to understand wine rather than just drink it, this is where to start.
