Is the membership fee a recurring charge?

Yes. Members pay a fee according to their level every quarter for access to the membership program and related benefits.

The good news: there are no termination fees or hidden costs!

How do I become a member?

Add the membership to your cart from this page and check out! Then you will be prompted to either create an account or sign in to your existing Melbourne Wine School account to access your member portal

Can I cancel my membership?

Absolutely.

You may cancel your membership at any time in the membership portal. Your benefits are at the beginning of your billing cycle, so they will remain in effect through the end of your 3 month billing cycle. Once your benefits expire, you will no longer have access to them.

Membership fees are not refundable. You may learn more about the timing of wine shipments in "when will I get my membership allocation'

When will I get my membership vial allocation?

You will receive your wine club shipment 2-3 weeks after the end of each calendar quarter - on or around Jan 15, Apr 15, July 15, & Oct 15. You must be an active member in good standing on the last day of the calendar quarter (Mar 31, Jun 30, Sep 30, & Dec 31) in order to receive your quarterly vial allocation shipment the following month.

If your membership benefits expire before the end of the calendar quarter, you will not be eligible to receive that quarter's shipment the following month.

Are shipping fees included in my Membership Fees?

Yes!

No need to pay extra fees to ship your membership vials. If you prefer to pick up your vials at the school during the quarterly tasting or at another convenient time, that is no problem. Just let us know when you will be picking them up in advance of the shipment.

What is a Cellar Raid Event like?

Twice a year, we'll invite you and your fellow MWS Members to join us to taste some of the most unique and limited wines we've collected over the years as we dig out some savored gems from the School cellar. These are treasured last bottles or special wines you won't see in our classes!

We'll aslo have some nibbles to enjoy as you sip on the evenings selections!

Members may bring up to one non-member guest. This is an in-person only event and registration fees will apply.
