Capstone California: Intermediate Level 2 Course - June 27th & July 4th

Take your understanding of California wine to the next level with Capstone California Intermediate Level 2. Designed for students ready to move beyond the fundamentals, this official certification explores California’s wine history, geography, major grape varieties, vineyard practices, winemaking techniques and AVAs in substantially greater depth.

You’ll examine how rivers, valleys, mountain ranges, climate and site influence wine style, explore regional expressions of California’s key grapes, and build a stronger understanding of viticulture, fermentation and oak maturation. Guided tasting brings the theory to life and helps develop confidence in recognising the diversity and quality of California wine.
